No caller tests the return value of this function.

The integer return type is still a remnant from when the function
was executed as initcall. This usage however was removed in
commit 8c0d884986ba ("init: main: add KUnit to kernel init")

<title>kunit: fix use-after-free in debugfs when using kunit.filter</title>

When the kernel is booted with a kunit filter (e.g.,
kunit.filter="speed!=slow"), the kunit executor dynamically allocates
copies of the filtered test suites using kmalloc/kmemdup.

During the initial boot execution, kunit_debugfs_create_suite() creates
debugfs files (such as /sys/kernel/debug/kunit/&lt;suite&gt;/run) and
permanently stores a pointer to the dynamically allocated suite in the
inode's i_private field.

Previously, the executor freed this dynamically allocated suite_set
immediately after executing the boot-time tests. Because the debugfs
nodes were not destroyed, any subsequent interaction with the debugfs
`run` file from userspace triggered a use-after-free (UAF). On systems
with architectural capabilities, like CHERI RISC-V, this resulted in
an immediate fatal hardware exception due to the invalidation of the
capability tags on the reclaimed memory. On other architectures, it
resulted in silent memory corruption.

Fix this UAF by properly coupling the lifetime of the filtered suite
memory allocation to the lifetime of the kunit subsystem and its
associated VFS nodes. Ownership of the boot-time suite_set is now
transferred to a global tracker ('kunit_boot_suites'), and the memory
is cleanly released in kunit_exit() during module teardown.

This converts some of the visually simpler cases that have been split
over multiple lines. I only did the ones that are easy to verify the
resulting diff by having just that final GFP_KERNEL argument on the next
line.

Somebody should probably do a proper coccinelle script for this, but for
me the trivial script actually resulted in an assertion failure in the
middle of the script. I probably had made it a bit _too_ trivial.

So after fighting that far a while I decided to just do some of the
syntactically simpler cases with variations of the previous 'sed'
scripts.

The more syntactically complex multi-line cases would mostly really want
whitespace cleanup anyway.

This was done entirely with mindless brute force, using

    git grep -l '\&lt;k[vmz]*alloc_objs*(.*, GFP_KERNEL)' |
        xargs sed -i 's/\(alloc_objs*(.*\), GFP_KERNEL)/\1)/'

to convert the new alloc_obj() users that had a simple GFP_KERNEL
argument to just drop that argument.

Note that due to the extreme simplicity of the scripting, any slightly
more complex cases spread over multiple lines would not be triggered:
they definitely exist, but this covers the vast bulk of the cases, and
the resulting diff is also then easier to check automatically.

For the same reason the 'flex' versions will be done as a separate
conversion.

This is the result of running the Coccinelle script from
scripts/coccinelle/api/kmalloc_objs.cocci. The script is designed to
avoid scalar types (which need careful case-by-case checking), and
instead replace kmalloc-family calls that allocate struct or union
object instances:

Single allocations:	kmalloc(sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_obj(TYPE, ...)

Array allocations:	kmalloc_array(COUNT, sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_objs(TYPE, COUNT, ...)

Flex array allocations:	kmalloc(struct_size(PTR, FAM, COUNT), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_flex(*PTR, FAM, COUNT, ...)

(where TYPE may also be *VAR)

The resulting allocations no longer return "void *", instead returning
"TYPE *".

Enable the preset of filter parameters from kconfig options, similar to
how other KUnit configuration parameters are handled already.
This is useful to run a subset of tests even if the cmdline is not
readily modifyable.

In preparation for making the kmalloc family of allocators type aware,
we need to make sure that the returned type from the allocation matches
the type of the variable being assigned. (Before, the allocator would
always return "void *", which can be implicitly cast to any pointer type.)

The assigned type is "struct kunit_suite **" but the returned type will
be "struct kunit_suite * const *". Since it isn't generally possible
to remove the const qualifier, adjust the allocation type to match
the assignment.

The new option controls tests run on boot or module load. With the new
debugfs "run" dentry allowing to run tests on demand, an ability to disable
automatic tests run becomes a useful option in case of intrusive tests.

The option is set to true by default to preserve the existent behavior. It
can be overridden by either the corresponding module option or by the
corresponding config build option.

The alloc/copy code pattern is better consolidated to single kstrdup (and
kstrndup) calls instead. This gets rid of deprecated[1] strncpy() uses as
well. Replace one other strncpy() use with the more idiomatic strscpy().

By allowing the filter_glob parameter to be written to, it's possible to
tweak the testsuites that will be executed on new module loads. This
makes it easier to run specific tests without having to reload kunit and
provides a way to filter tests on real HW even if kunit is builtin.
Example for xe driver:

1) Run just 1 test
	# echo -n xe_bo &gt; /sys/module/kunit/parameters/filter_glob
	# modprobe -r xe_live_test
	# modprobe xe_live_test
	# ls /sys/kernel/debug/kunit/
	xe_bo

2) Run all tests
	# echo \* &gt; /sys/module/kunit/parameters/filter_glob
	# modprobe -r xe_live_test
	# modprobe xe_live_test
	# ls /sys/kernel/debug/kunit/
	xe_bo xe_dma_buf xe_migrate xe_mocs

For completeness and to cover other use cases, also change filter and
filter_action to rw.
