[ Upstream commit 5553d64e01d9a995be6c3de38501c6dd4ceede3b ]

llbitmap_destroy() deletes pending_timer before flushing
md_llbitmap_io_wq. However, daemon_work can still be queued or running
after the timer has been deleted, and the daemon path can arm
pending_timer again when it finds dirty chunks that are not ready to
flush yet.

If that happens during teardown, pending_timer can remain armed after
llbitmap is freed and later dereference freed memory.

Add a BITMAP_SHUTDOWN bit to llbitmap->flags, set it before deleting
the timer, and make the timer and daemon paths stop queueing or rearming
work once teardown starts. Cancel daemon_work before flushing the shared
workqueue so no already queued daemon instance can race with the free.
Use timer_shutdown_sync() so a daemon instance that passed the shutdown
check before teardown cannot rearm the timer afterward.

BITMAP_SHUTDOWN is a runtime-only state. Mask it out when reading and
updating the llbitmap superblock so the shutdown state is never loaded
from disk or persisted to disk.

llbitmap_create() publishes mddev->bitmap before reading the bitmap
superblock. This is needed because llbitmap_read_sb() can initialize a
new bitmap and flush it through helpers that use mddev->bitmap.

If llbitmap_read_sb() fails, the old cleanup dropped bitmap_info.mutex
and freed llbitmap before clearing mddev->bitmap. Readers such as
/proc/mdstat rely on bitmap_info.mutex to keep the bitmap pointer stable
while collecting bitmap stats, so they could observe the stale pointer
after the failed create path released the mutex.

Clear mddev->bitmap while still holding bitmap_info.mutex, then free the
failed llbitmap after dropping the mutex. This makes mutex-protected
readers see either a live bitmap or no bitmap.

REQ_NOWAIT support in md personalities that can block internally is
fundamentally incomplete. While reads can avoid some blocking paths,
write requests can still encounter cases where one mirror succeeds while
another returns -EAGAIN. At that point md cannot distinguish queue
pressure from a real device failure, so it can neither record a bad
block nor safely retry the write without REQ_NOWAIT, leaving mirrors
with divergent data.

Rather than continue advertising REQ_NOWAIT support for personalities
that cannot implement it correctly, remove it from raid1, raid10 and
raid456. Keep REQ_NOWAIT for linear and raid0, which only remap bios to
their underlying devices; stacked limits will still clear the feature if
any component device lacks REQ_NOWAIT support.

raid1 supports REQ_NOWAIT reads by avoiding waits in the barrier path
through wait_read_barrier(). However, a read can still block on a
WriteMostly device when the array uses a bitmap and there are
outstanding behind writes.

In that case raid1 unconditionally calls wait_behind_writes(), which
may sleep until all behind writes complete. As a result, a REQ_NOWAIT
read can block despite the caller explicitly requesting non-blocking
behavior.

This ensures that raid1 consistently honors REQ_NOWAIT reads across all
paths that may otherwise wait for behind writes.

Split the classic bitmap sysfs files into a common bitmap group with
the location attribute and a separate internal bitmap group for the
remaining files.

At the same time, convert bitmap operations from a single sysfs group
to a sysfs group array so backends can share part of their sysfs
layout while adding backend-specific attributes separately.

Switch the bitmap sysfs helpers to use sysfs_update_groups() for the
add and update path, and remove groups in reverse order so shared named
groups are unmerged before the last group removes the directory.

Also make bitmap operation lookup depend only on the currently selected
bitmap id matching the installed backend. This prepares the lookup path
for a later registered none backend.

For RAID-456 arrays with llbitmap, if all underlying disks support
write_zeroes with unmap, issue write_zeroes to zero all disk data
regions and initialize the bitmap to BitCleanUnwritten instead of
BitUnwritten.

This optimization skips the initial XOR parity building because:
1. write_zeroes with unmap guarantees zeroed reads after the operation
2. For RAID-456, when all data is zero, parity is automatically
   consistent (0 XOR 0 XOR ... = 0)
3. BitCleanUnwritten indicates parity is valid but no user data
   has been written

The implementation adds two helper functions:
- llbitmap_all_disks_support_wzeroes_unmap(): Checks if all active
  disks support write_zeroes with unmap
- llbitmap_zero_all_disks(): Issues blkdev_issue_zeroout() to each
rdev's data region to zero all disks

The zeroing and bitmap state setting happens in llbitmap_init_state()
during bitmap initialization. If any disk fails to zero, we fall back
to BitUnwritten and normal lazy recovery.

This significantly reduces array initialization time for RAID-456
arrays built on modern NVMe SSDs or other devices that support
write_zeroes with unmap.

Add new states to the llbitmap state machine to support proactive XOR
parity building for RAID-5 arrays. This allows users to pre-build parity
data for unwritten regions before any user data is written.

New states added:
- BitNeedSyncUnwritten: Transitional state when proactive sync is triggered
  via sysfs on Unwritten regions.
- BitSyncingUnwritten: Proactive sync in progress for unwritten region.
- BitCleanUnwritten: XOR parity has been pre-built, but no user data
written yet. When user writes to this region, it transitions to BitDirty.

New actions added:
- BitmapActionProactiveSync: Trigger for proactive XOR parity building.
- BitmapActionClearUnwritten: Convert CleanUnwritten/NeedSyncUnwritten/
SyncingUnwritten states back to Unwritten before recovery starts.

State flows:
- Current (lazy): Unwritten -> (write) -> NeedSync -> (sync) -> Dirty -> Clean
- New (proactive): Unwritten -> (sysfs) -> NeedSyncUnwritten -> (sync) -> CleanUnwritten
- On write to CleanUnwritten: CleanUnwritten -> (write) -> Dirty -> Clean
- On disk replacement: CleanUnwritten regions are converted to Unwritten
before recovery starts, so recovery only rebuilds regions with user data

A new sysfs interface is added at /sys/block/mdX/md/llbitmap/proactive_sync
(write-only) to trigger proactive sync. This only works for RAID-456 arrays.

Move the barrier raise operation before calling llbitmap_state_machine()
in both llbitmap_start_write() and llbitmap_start_discard(). This
ensures the barrier is in place before any state transitions occur,
preventing potential race conditions where the state machine could
complete before the barrier is properly raised.

When reading bitmap pages from member disks, the code iterates through
all rdevs and attempts to read from the first available one. However,
it only checks for raid_disk assignment and Faulty flag, missing the
In_sync flag check.

This can cause bitmap data to be read from spare disks that are still
being rebuilt and don't have valid bitmap information yet. Reading
stale or uninitialized bitmap data from such disks can lead to
incorrect dirty bit tracking, potentially causing data corruption
during recovery or normal operation.

Add the In_sync flag check to ensure bitmap pages are only read from
fully synchronized member disks that have valid bitmap data.

This was done entirely with mindless brute force, using

    git grep -l '\<k[vmz]*alloc_objs*(.*, GFP_KERNEL)' |
        xargs sed -i 's/\(alloc_objs*(.*\), GFP_KERNEL)/\1)/'

to convert the new alloc_obj() users that had a simple GFP_KERNEL
argument to just drop that argument.

Note that due to the extreme simplicity of the scripting, any slightly
more complex cases spread over multiple lines would not be triggered:
they definitely exist, but this covers the vast bulk of the cases, and
the resulting diff is also then easier to check automatically.

For the same reason the 'flex' versions will be done as a separate
conversion.
