Pull remoteproc updates from Bjorn Andersson:
"Add a remoteproc driver and binding for AMD MicroBlaze/V soft cores
executing from dual-port BRAM, with clock and reset control and
support for firmware without a resource table.
Introduce a generic Qualcomm PAS service with SCM and OP-TEE backends,
and migrate the PAS, MSS, and WCNSS remoteproc drivers to it. Add Nord
ADSP and CDSP support, Eliza CDSP support, Maili ADSP/CDSP bindings,
and late-attach SoCCP support for Kaanapali, Hawi, Maili, and Glymur.
Enable BAM-DMUX child devices for PAS modems and fix PAS memory
protection, handover, shutdown, and resource lifetime handling.
Harden remoteproc lifecycle handling by attaching asynchronously,
stopping crashed processors, synchronizing crash work with removal,
and forcing shutdown before device resources are released. Reallocate
resources during attach recovery and fix several reference and
error-path leaks.
Add Xilinx R5 crash detection and move RPU start and stop sequencing
into the platform firmware driver. Consolidate write-combining
carveout mapping callbacks, use correct I/O-memory accessors, and
share optional ELF resource-table handling across drivers.
Convert the TI Wakeup M3 binding to DT schema, correct Qualcomm and
generic remoteproc bindings, and harden resource-table iteration
against signed-offset out-of-bounds accesses"

During a kexec restart, only the kernel is reloaded but notifier callbacks
in firmware persist, causing state mismatches between kernel and firmware.
To address this, introduce PM_ALL_NOTIFIERS node ID to unregister all
notifier callbacks during kexec. On a graceful kexec restart, this occurs
in zynqmp_firmware_shutdown(). On a crash kernel restart, it happens in
zynqmp_firmware_probe() in the reloaded kernel.
Unregistering all notifiers depends on firmware support for the
PM_ALL_NOTIFIERS node ID. On firmware that does not implement it (the
feature check reports a version below PM_API_VERSION_3) the step is
skipped and a warning such as "Firmware doesn't support unregister all
notifiers at once" is logged, e.g. on Versal NET firmware that predates
this API.

During a kexec restart, only the kernel is reloaded while devices
allocated in firmware persist, causing state mismatches between the
kernel and firmware.
Introduce PM_DEV_ALL_PERIPH node ID (0x18224FFFU) to release all
peripheral devices during kexec. On graceful restarts, this happens in
zynqmp_firmware_shutdown(). On crash kernel restarts, it happens in
zynqmp_firmware_probe() of the reloaded kernel.
Releasing all peripherals depends on firmware support for the
PM_DEV_ALL_PERIPH node ID. On firmware that does not implement it (the
feature check reports a version below PM_API_VERSION_3) the release is
skipped and a warning such as "Bulk device release is not supported by
firmware" is logged, e.g. on Versal NET firmware that predates this API.

Currently, during a kexec restart, only the kernel is reloaded, while
EL3-specific data remain unchanged. This leads to a mismatch between the
kernel state and secure firmware state like SGI number and shutdown scope
variable.
For example, the kernel registers an SGI number with EL3 firmware so that
secure firmware can notify the kernel of events via that SGI. EL3 stores
this SGI number in its internal state. After a kexec, the newly loaded
kernel re-registers and may request a different SGI number, but the stale
value programmed in EL3 remains, so event notifications are delivered on
the old SGI and are missed by the new kernel. The shutdown scope variable
has a similar stale state problem.
To resolve this, the TF_A_CLEAR_PM_STATE PM API is introduced to clear
EL3 PM subsystem state during kexec. On a graceful reboot, this API is
triggered by zynqmp_firmware_shutdown(), while in a crash kernel scenario,
it is invoked by zynqmp_firmware_probe() in the reloaded kernel.

When do_fw_call() fails in __do_feature_check_call(), propagate the
actual errno from zynqmp_pm_ret_code() instead of always returning
-EOPNOTSUPP. This gives callers more precise error information. Existing
callers only test ret < 0 and are unchanged by this.

Currently, TF-A-specific APIs are validated using the firmware
PM_FEATURE_CHECK API, even though TF-A provides a dedicated mechanism
via PM_API_FEATURES API. Update the feature check logic for TF-A-specific
API calls to use PM_API_FEATURES. If this check fails, fall back to the
legacy PM_FEATURE_CHECK to support backward compatibility.

Current _start and _stop ops are implemented using various APIs from the
platform management firmware driver. Instead provide respective RPU
start and stop API in the firmware driver and move the logic to interact
with the PM firmware in the firmware driver. The remoteproc driver doesn't
need to know actual logic, but only the final result i.e. RPU start/stop
was success or not. This refactor keeps the remoteproc driver simple and
moves firmware interaction logic to the firmware driver.

The remote state is set to RPROC_DETACHED if the resource table is found
in the memory. However, this can be wrong if the remote is not started,
but firmware is still loaded in the memory. Use PM_GET_NODE_STATUS call
to the firmware to request the state of the RPU node. If the RPU is
actually out of reset and running, only then move the remote state to
RPROC_DETACHED, otherwise keep the remote state to RPROC_OFFLINE.

This is the result of running the Coccinelle script from
scripts/coccinelle/api/kmalloc_objs.cocci. The script is designed to
avoid scalar types (which need careful case-by-case checking), and
instead replace kmalloc-family calls that allocate struct or union
object instances:
Single allocations: kmalloc(sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with: kmalloc_obj(TYPE, ...)
Array allocations: kmalloc_array(COUNT, sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with: kmalloc_objs(TYPE, COUNT, ...)
Flex array allocations: kmalloc(struct_size(PTR, FAM, COUNT), ...)
are replaced with: kmalloc_flex(*PTR, FAM, COUNT, ...)
(where TYPE may also be *VAR)
The resulting allocations no longer return "void *", instead returning
"TYPE *".

Add support for a generic ioctl read/write interface using which users
can request firmware to perform read/write operations on a protected and
secure address space.
The functionality is introduced through the means of two new IOCTL IDs
which extend the existing PM_IOCTL EEMI API:
- IOCTL_READ_REG
- IOCTL_MASK_WRITE_REG
The caller only passes the node id of the given device and an offset.
The base address is not exposed to the caller and internally retrieved
by the firmware. Firmware will enforce an access policy on the incoming
read/write request.

zynqmp_pm_get_family_info()
Currently, the family code and subfamily code are derived from the
PMC_TAP_IDCODE register. Versal, Versal NET share the same family
code. Also some platforms share the same subfamily code, making it
difficult to distinguish between platforms. Update
zynqmp_pm_get_family_info() to use IDs derived from the compatible
string instead of silicon ID codes derived from PMC_TAP_IDCODE register.

The family code is currently derived from the PMC_TAP_IDCODE register
value, but there are issues where Versal, Versal NET, and future
platforms share the same family code. Additionally for some platforms
have identical subfamily code, making it challenging to differentiate
between platforms based on the family and subfamily codes. To resolve
this, a new family code member is added to the platform data, initialized
with unique values. This change enables better platform distinction via
the compatible string.

Add new debug interface to support PM_GET_NODE_STATUS to get the node
information like requirements and usage.
The debugfs firmware driver interface is only meant for testing and
debugging EEMI APIs. Hence, it is by-default disabled in production
systems.

Rather than having the genpd provider to add device_links for each device
that gets attached, to implement the ->sync_state() support, let's rely on
fw_devlink to do this for us.
In this way, we can simplify the code by moving the ->sync_state() callback
into the firmware driver, so let's do that.

Fpga get config status just returns status through ret_payload and there
is no need to allocate local buf and send its address through SMC args.
Moreover, the address that is being passed till now is linux virtual
address and is incorrect.
Corresponding modification has been done in the firmware to avoid using the
address sent by linux.

I think this is the tipping point, expect to see way more rust
drivers going forward now that these bindings are present. Next
merge window hopefully we will have pci and platform drivers
working, which will fully enable almost all driver subsystems to
start accepting (or at least getting) rust drivers.
This is the end result of a lot of work from a lot of people,
congrats to all of them for getting this far, you've proved many of

After commit 0edb555a65d1 ("platform: Make platform_driver::remove()
return void") .remove() is (again) the right callback to implement for
platform drivers.
Convert all platform drivers below drivers/firmware to use .remove(),
with the eventual goal to drop struct platform_driver::remove_new(). As
.remove() and .remove_new() have the same prototypes, conversion is done
by just changing the structure member name in the driver initializer.

Currently, Linux is passing only API ID for feature of TF-A specific
APIs but for feature check of TF-A specific APIs, TF-A is checking
for Module ID + API ID as a result incorrect version is received for
all TF-A specific APIs. So, fix feature check logic to pass valid
arguments to get correct version.

Added zynqmp_pm_invoke_fw_fn() to use new SMC format in which
lower 12 bits of SMC id are fixed and firmware header is moved to
subsequent SMC arguments. The new SMC format supports full request and
response buffers.
Added zynqmp_pm_get_sip_svc_version() to get SiP SVC version
number to check if TF-A is newer or older and use the SMC format
accordingly to handle backward compatibility.
Used new SMC format for PM_QUERY_DATA API as more response values are
required in it.

As per the current code base, feature check API is used to check the
version in zynqmp_pm_pinctrl_set_config() before requesting the
firmware, and if the expected version is not found then it will
return an error. So now when the latest kernel tries to access the
tri-state functionality with older firmware, observe failure prints
during booting.

Now, these error prints mislead the user whether it is an actual
failure or the feature itself is not there in the firmware. So, just
to avoid confusion around this, add some debug prints before
returning an error code. With that, it is easier to know whether it is
an actual failure or the feature is unsupported.

Refactors the reset handling mechanisms by replacing the reset ID's
enum type with a u32. This update improves flexibility, allowing the
reset ID to accommodate a broader range of values, including those
that may not fit into predefined enum values.
The use of u32 for reset ID enhances extensibility, especially for
hardware platforms or features where more granular control of reset
operations is required. By shifting to a general integer type, this
change reduces constraints and simplifies integration with other
system components that rely on non-enum-based reset IDs.

Add missing PM EEMI APIs interface in debug firmware driver.
The debugfs firmware driver interface is intended for testing and
debugging the EEMI APIs only. This interface does not contain any
checking regarding improper usage, and the number, type and valid
ranges of the arguments. This interface must be used with a lot of
care. In fact, accessing this interface during normal PM operation
will very likely cause unexpected problems.
The debugfs interface shouldn't be used in the production system and
hence it is disabled by default in defconfig.

The .remove() callback for a platform driver returns an int which makes
many driver authors wrongly assume it's possible to do error handling by
returning an error code. However the value returned is ignored (apart
from emitting a warning) and this typically results in resource leaks.
To improve here there is a quest to make the remove callback return
void. In the first step of this quest all drivers are converted to
.remove_new(), which already returns void. Eventually after all drivers
are converted, .remove_new() will be renamed to .remove().
Trivially convert this driver from always returning zero in the remove
callback to the void returning variant.

As per the current code base, PM_CLOCK_SETRATE and PM_CLOCK_GETRATE
APIs are not supported for the runtime operations. In the case of
ZynqMP returning an error from TF-A when there is any request to
access these APIs and for Versal also it is returning an error like
NO_ACCESS from the firmware. So, just removing the unused code to
avoid the confusion around these APIs.
Also, there is no issue with the backward compatibility as these APIs
were never used since implemented. Hence no need to bump up the
version of the feature check API as well.

Failure to register SGI for firmware event notification is non-fatal error
when feature is not supported by other modules such as Xen and TF-A. Add
_info level log message for such special case.
Also add XST_PM_INVALID_VERSION error code and map it to -EOPNOSUPP Linux
kernel error code. If feature is not supported or EEMI API version is
mismatch, firmware can return XST_PM_INVALID_VERSION = 4 or
XST_PM_NO_FEATURE = 19 error code.

To support feature check for all modules, append the module id of the API
that is being checked to the feature check API so it could be routed to
the target module for processing.
There is no need to check compatible string because the board information
is taken via firmware interface.

System-level platform management layer (do_fw_call()) has support for
maximum of 5 arguments as of now (1 EEMI API ID + 4 command arguments).
In order to support new EEMI PM_IOCTL IDs (Secure Read/Write), this
support must be extended to support one additional argument, which
results in a configuration of - 1 EEMI API ID + 5 command arguments.
Update zynqmp_pm_invoke_fn() and do_fw_call() with this new definition
containing variable arguments. As a result, update all the references
to pm invoke function with the updated definition.

As mentioned in Documentation/process/coding-style.rst:
In source files, separate functions with one blank line. If the function
is exported, the **EXPORT** macro for it should follow immediately after
the closing function brace line.
So inline with guideline move zynqmp_pm_feature export symbol after its
definition.

The DT of_device.h and of_platform.h date back to the separate
of_platform_bus_type before it as merged into the regular platform bus.
As part of that merge prepping Arm DT support 13 years ago, they
"temporarily" include each other. They also include platform_device.h
and of.h. As a result, there's a pretty much random mix of those include
files used throughout the tree. In order to detangle these headers and
replace the implicit includes with struct declarations, users need to
explicitly include the correct includes.

Support for configuring TRISTATE parameter is added in ZYNQMP PMUFW(Xilinx
ZynqMP Platform Management Firmware) Configuration Param Set version 2.0.
If the requested configuration is TRISTATE and platform is ZYNQMP then
check the version before requesting Xilinx firmware to set the
configuration.

Add function to get family code and sub family code from the idcode. This
family code and sub family code helps to identify the platform.
Family code of any platform is on bits 21 to 27 and Sub family code is on
bits 19 and 20.
