Baikal-T1 SoC updates for LANDAU Linux v7.0

It's possible to have more than a single DMA-channel supporting the
TCP-segmentation offloading. The driver currently doesn't support anything
to detected and utilize that. In the meantime the feature may greatly
improve the TCP/IP traffic transfer performance.
Let's fix that by introducing a platform-specific flag
STMMAC_FLAG_TSO_FULL which would indicate such feature availability and
permit selecting any Tx-channel to send TCP/UDP/IP traffic with the
TSO engine.

There is a Marvell 88X2222 PHY revision with R suffix, which is mainly
compatible with the original PHY but has different ID. Let's add it to the
known Marvell PHY IDs table defined in the marvell_phy.h file.

DT-bindings wise the Marvell 88X2222 transceiver is a normal 10G PHY with
up to four host-side ports (support 10GBASE-R, XAUI/RXAUI, 1000BASE-X
protocols) and two line-side ports (support 10GBASE-R and 1000BASE-X
interfaces). Besides it is equipped with 12 GPIOs multiplexed with the
special functions like LEDs, TWSI SDA/SCL, etc. They can be used to
communicate with the SFP+ ports soldered to the device line-side
interfaces.

Baikal-T1 SoC is synthesized with the DW XPCS v3.11b IP-core attached to
DW xGMAC v2.11a over the XGMII interface. DW XPCS is configured to be of
the Back-plane multi-mode with KR/KX4 speeds support (no 1G speed). Thus
the PCS sublayer supports Clause 73 and 72 auto-negotiations performed
over the 10GBASE-KR and 10GBASE-KX4 link modes.
So in order to have the denoted features enabled for the Baikal-T1
XGMAC/XPCS chain the DW XPCS driver is updated with the Baikal-T1
XPCS-specific compat-list. It will be selected in case if the platform
detects the "baikal,bt1-xpcs" compatible device or a device with the
custom BT1_XGMAC_XPCS_ID id.
Note the XPCS device is synthesized with the Synopsys 10G Gen5 PMA. Thus
the corresponding PMA-id is specified in order activate the PMA-specific
config methods.

DW XPCS can be synthesized with 10GBASE-X/XAUI link support. In that case
xGMAC is still connected to the XPCS device by means of normally
multi-lane high-speed interface (XGMII, USXGMII, etc) meanwhile an
external interface is defined as 10GBASE-X. From the network subsystem
point of view it's as if DW XPCS is fully integrated into the MAC with no
need in setting any intermediate interface up.
Similarly to the 10GBASE-R, in accordance with the IEEE 802.3 standard
10GBASE-X doesn't intent any auto-negotiations but it's defined as also
being utilized by XGXS (Clause 47). Thus a new AN-less mode is defined
DW_10GBASEX in the driver. It implies PCS and PMA setups required for the
device to work in the denoted mode. The respective actions are executed in
the xpcs_do_config() method. At the same time xpcs_link_up() makes sure
that the PCS/PMA<->PHY link actually works and it has compatible speed and
duplex: 10Gbps speed and full-duplex mode.
Note 1. Synopsys 10G Gen5 PMA requires the reference clock switch in case
if the respective flag doesn't correspond to the specified clock sources.
Note 2. XPCS 10GBASE-X interface features list contains all
speed-compatible link modes in order to have the pcs_validate() permitting
these modes for the externally attached PHYs.

The interface is defined by IEEE 802.3 Clause 48 as a PCS and PMA
sublayer. It is normally utilized to connect XGMII with the 10GBASE-CX4
(Clause 54), 10GBASE-KX4 (Clause 71), and 10GBASE-LX4 (Clause 53) PHYs.
It's an independent four Tx and Rx lanes interface with 8b/10b coding of
the full-duplex stream with constant 10Gb/s speed. 10GBASE-X PCS/PMA is
utlized by the XGXS/XAUI specifications (Clause 47).

Synopsys DesignWare Ethernet controllers can be synthesized with
General-Purpose IOs support. GPIOs are divided into two ports: gpi_i -
inputs and gpo_o - outputs. While the GPIOs semantics is identical on all
DW Ethernet controllers the ports width (number of possible
inputs/outputs) and the configuration registers layout depend on the
IP-core version. For instance, DW GMAC can have from 0 to 4 GPIs and from
0 to 4 GPOs, while DW QoS Ether/xGMAC/etc have a wider ports width up to
16 pins of each one. In the framework of provided implementation any
DesignWare Ethernet controllers GPIO block can be supported as soon as the
GPIO registers accessors and the cleanup methods are defined for the
respective IP-core.
Total number of GPIOs MAC supports is supposed to be passed via the
platform descriptor. If it's an OF-based platform, then the standard
"ngpios" DT-property will be parsed for it as well.
Before registering the GPIO-chip in the kernel, the driver will try to
auto-detect the number of GPIs and GPOs by writing 1s into the GPI type
config register. Reading the written value back and calculating the number
of actually set bits will give the GPI port width the device has been
synthesized with.
If GPIs have been detected then GPIO IRQ-chip will be also initialized and
only in that case the GPIO IRQs handling will be activated. Since the
pending events are cleared just by reading from the GPI event status
register, only the edged IRQs type can be implemented. For the same reason
and for the reason of having the rest of GPIO configs reside in the same
CSR, the GPI type, GPI mask and GPO state caches have been added. So the
driver would avoid RMW CSR update code to minimize the pending GPI events
clearing.
Note in case of GPIOs being available the core soft-resetting mustn't be
executed otherwise the GPIO configs will be reset to the initial state. Instead
MAC/DMA stop and CSRs cleanup has been added.

DW *MAC IP-cores can be synthesized with various system interface data bus
widths. For instance DW GMACs and DW QoS Ether can work with buses of 32,
64 and 128 bits width, while DW xGMACs can be created with system bus of
64 and 128 bits width. The bus width value affects several very important
parameters like DMA transfers granularity and performance, DMA maximum
burst length, Rx DMA buffers alignment. So in order to be able to tune and
verify these parameters let's add the data bus width device property
support. It can be passed either by the platform code or via the DT-node
property. For some reason HW capability register doesn't contain that
parameter in its fields.
Note if the data bus width isn't specified then the driver will use the
default value of 16 bytes. That will apply the strongest constraint on the
PBL values and Rx DMA buffers alignment (the later one is actually
currently hard-coded anyway). In order to get a better HW performance it's
preferable to specify the actual value for a particular version of the
controller.

Here is what the DW GMAC databooks say about the Rx COE type 1 abilities:
"The application can enable IPv4 header checksum _checking_ and TCP/UDP
checksum _offload_ by setting the GMAC Configuration register’s IPC bit.
This module calculates the 16-bit ones’ complement of the Ethernet frame’s
payload data’s (DATA field) ones’ complement sum. ..." [1,2,3]
Basically it means that the engine _verifies_ the IPv4 header checksum
only and just calculates the 16-bit one's complement sum of the IPv4
datagrams for TCP/UDP protocols. The calculated value is just appended to
the frame pushed up to the system memory, which the driver just _ignores_.
The problem is that despite of all that the NETIF_F_RXCSUM feature is set
for Rx COE type 1 and the packets Rx procedure reports that the all the
IPv4 payloads csum is verified. It's definitely wrong.
In order to fix that let's just drop the entire Rx COE type 1 support
since it has never been properly handled in the driver anyway and most
importantly has been declared as legacy since DW GMAC v3.30a release [2,3]
claiming that the Type 2 engine is generally preferable. Regarding the
IPv4 header checking which is claimed to be performed by the type 1
engine, it's performed by the network core subsystem anyway.
Note originally, prior the commit 38912bdbde5f ("stmmac: sanitize the rx
coe and add the type-1 csum (v2)"), the driver had had the Rx COE type 2
support only [4]. So the implemented solution means to basically revert
the blamed commit provided never actually properly working change.

Aside from the MIPS P5600 cores Baikal-T1 SoC provides one PCIe x4
Gen.3 port, 2x SATA III, 10Gbit Ethernet, 2x Gbit Ethernet ports,
USB 2.0 port, 32x/3x GPIO, 3x i2c, 3x high-resolution APB timers,
2x UARTs, 3x SPI, PVT sensor. Nearly all of them are based on the
DesignWare IP blocks. This commit provides the Baikal-T1 dts files
with all of these interfaces described.
There are two CPU cores declared having the dedicated CCU PLL as a CPU
clocks source. The corresponding OPP table is also provided to have the
dt-based CPU-freq driver support. As being memory mapped MIPS GIC, CPC,
CDMM and CM2 blocks are described in the corresponding dts nodes.
CPU can be reset by means of the dedicated CPU control register available
via the chip system controller. It's accordingly described in the
syscon-reboot node. In addition the reboot reason can be saved in the
WDT RCR register by means of the syscond-reboot-mode driver.
Clocks Control Unit is also a part of the System Controller. It consists
of four components: high-frequency external oscillator (normally
XTAL's 25 MHz crystal oscillator, but in general it can provide any
frequency supported by the CCU PLLs), PLLs sub-block to generate a
specific higher-frequency clocks from a single external signal, AXI-bus
clocks dividers, system devices reference clock dividers. Each of these
components are represented in a dedicated DT nodes.
Thermal zones are described in a way so to keep the chip in working state.
The actual temperature can be detected either by the embedded PVT sensor
or by some external device.
All the fast interfaces are connected to the main interconnect by means of
the AXI bus and described in the corresponding simple-bus node. Similarly
the slow peripherals are accessed by means of the APB bus. So we grouped
them in a dedicated dts sub-node as well.
Note that some of the DMA-capable devices can't reach all the physical
memory available for CPU in XPA mode. It concerns Eth0/Eth1, USB and SATA
interfaces. That's reflected by setting the 32-bit dma-ranges DT-property,
so the dma_capable() method would return false value for the DMA requests
targeted above 4GiB.

Currently only the self-cleared AXI DDR reset is supported by the driver
and exposed in the DT-bindings. In some circumstances of the
DDR-controller initialization procedure though it gets to be not enough to
make the memory controller working. Let's add the flag directly handling
the AXI DDR signal, which is a fixup provided by the HW designers just in
case the self-cleared version won't work correctly. The resultant signal
is (!RST_T & !RST_D).
Note it's just a decorative change since the DDR controller is initialized
on the bootloader stage anyway. It's also ok to fix the reset IDs like
that since there is no user of the bindings in upstream anyway. Any new
user shall compile in the correct IDs in the DTBs in time.

Add the documentation and dt bindings for Amlogic A1 CPU clock
controller.
This controller consists of the general 'cpu_clk' and two main parents:
'cpu fixed clock' and 'syspll'. The 'cpu fixed clock' is an internal
fixed clock, while the 'syspll' serves as an external input from the A1
PLL clock controller.

If the DW QoS Ether/XGMAC/XLGMAC/etc are synthesized into the system with
the AXI4 master bus it's possible to specify the cacheability attributes
of the memory accesses. In the meantime if the controller is defined in
the system as DMA-cache-coherent then any cacheable attributes can be
utilized. This shall significantly speed up the controller IO performance.
In our case the iperf3 got x4 faster on a single thread test reaching the
practical maximum of the DW XGMAC controller!
Let's provide a new fine-tuning platform AXI cache coherency parameter
then. So if it's initialized with true then the driver considers that the
device is DMA-coherent and enables the "Write-back No-allocate" memory
access proto with Outer Shareable domain. Thus an Rx-es will be written to
the cache and Tx-es will be read from the cache if there are respective
entries are. Otherwise the data will be read directly from the memory.

DW uMCTL2 DDRC IP-core can be configured to have them supported [2,3].
Extend the EDAC memory types enumeration with the corresponding IDs then.

Calvin reported an odd NMI watchdog lockup which claims that the CPU locked
up in user space. He provided a reproducer, which sets up a timerfd based
timer and then rearms it in a loop with an absolute expiry time of 1ns.
As the expiry time is in the past, the timer ends up as the first expiring
timer in the per CPU hrtimer base and the clockevent device is programmed
with the minimum delta value. If the machine is fast enough, this ends up
in a endless loop of programming the delta value to the minimum value
defined by the clock event device, before the timer interrupt can fire,
which starves the interrupt and consequently triggers the lockup detector
because the hrtimer callback of the lockup mechanism is never invoked.
As a first step to prevent this, avoid reprogramming the clock event device
when:
- a forced minimum delta event is pending
- the new expiry delta is less then or equal to the minimum delta
Thanks to Calvin for providing the reproducer and to Borislav for testing
and providing data from his Zen5 machine.
The problem is not limited to Zen5, but depending on the underlying
clock event device (e.g. TSC deadline timer on Intel) and the CPU speed
not necessarily observable.
This change serves only as the last resort and further changes will be made
to prevent this scenario earlier in the call chain as far as possible.

is seeded with the raw namespace pointer via init_name_hash(ns).
The resulting hash values are exposed to userspace through
readdir seek positions, and the pointer-based ordering in
kernfs_name_compare() is observable through entry order.
Switch from raw pointers to ns_common::ns_id for both hashing
and comparison.
A preparatory commit first replaces all const void * namespace
parameters with const struct ns_common * throughout kernfs, sysfs,
and kobject so the code can access ns->ns_id. Also compare the
ns_id when hashes match in the rbtree to handle crafted collisions.

kernfs has historically used const void * to pass around namespace tags
used for directory-level namespace filtering. The only current user of
this is sysfs network namespace tagging where struct net pointers are
cast to void *.
Replace all const void * namespace parameters with const struct
ns_common * throughout the kernfs, sysfs, and kobject namespace layers.
This includes the kobj_ns_type_operations callbacks, kobject_namespace(),
and all sysfs/kernfs APIs that accept or return namespace tags.
Passing struct ns_common is needed because various codepaths require
access to the underlying namespace. A struct ns_common can always be
converted back to the concrete namespace type (e.g., struct net) via
container_of() or to_ns_common() in the reverse direction.
This is a preparatory change for switching to ns_id-based directory
iteration to prevent a KASLR pointer leak through the current use of
raw namespace pointers as hash seeds and comparison keys.

Peers may only send immediate acks for every 2 UDP packets received.
When sending a jumbogram, it is important to check that there is
sufficient window space to send another same sized jumbogram following
the current one, and request an ack if there isn't. Failure to do so may
cause the call to stall waiting for an ack until the resend timer fires.
Where jumbograms are in use this causes a very significant drop in
performance.

In rxrpc_post_response(), the code should be comparing the challenge serial
number from the cached response before deciding to switch to a newer
response, but looks at the newer packet private data instead, rendering the
comparison always false.
Fix this by switching to look at the older packet.
Fix further[1] to substitute the new packet in place of the old one if
newer and also to release whichever we don't use.

Fix rxrpc call removal from the rxnet->calls list to use list_del_rcu()
rather than list_del_init() to prevent stuffing up reading
/proc/net/rxrpc/calls from potentially getting into an infinite loop.
This, however, means that list_empty() no longer works on an entry that's
been deleted from the list, making it harder to detect prior deletion. Fix
this by:
Firstly, make rxrpc_destroy_all_calls() only dump the first ten calls that
are unexpectedly still on the list. Limiting the number of steps means
there's no need to call cond_resched() or to remove calls from the list
here, thereby eliminating the need for rxrpc_put_call() to check for that.
rxrpc_put_call() can then be fixed to unconditionally delete the call from
the list as it is the only place that the deletion occurs.

김영민 reports that shstk_pop_sigframe() doesn't check for errors from
mmap_read_lock_killable(), which is a silly oversight, and also shows
that we haven't marked those functions with "__must_check", which would
have immediately caught it.
So let's fix both issues.

Ensure that all interrupt handlers are unregistered before the parent
regmap_irq is unregistered.
sdca_irq_cleanup() was only called from the component_remove(). If the
module was loaded and removed without ever being component probed the
FDL interrupts would not be unregistered and this would hit a WARN
when devm called regmap_del_irq_chip() during the removal of the
parent IRQ.

nft_ct_timeout_obj_destroy() frees the timeout object with kfree()
immediately after nf_ct_untimeout(), without waiting for an RCU grace
period. Concurrent packet processing on other CPUs may still hold
RCU-protected references to the timeout object obtained via
rcu_dereference() in nf_ct_timeout_data().
Add an rcu_head to struct nf_ct_timeout and use kfree_rcu() to defer
freeing until after an RCU grace period, matching the approach already
used in nfnetlink_cttimeout.c.

Currently xp_assign_dev_shared() is missing XDP_USE_SG being propagated
to flags so set it in order to preserve mtu check that is supposed to be
done only when no multi-buffer setup is in picture.
Also, this flag has the same value as XDP_UMEM_TX_SW_CSUM so we could
get unexpected SG setups for software Tx checksums. Since csum flag is
UAPI, modify value of XDP_UMEM_SG_FLAG.

Multi-buffer XDP stores information about frags in skb_shared_info that
sits at the tailroom of a packet. The storage space is reserved via
xdp_data_hard_end():

Currently we do not respect this tailroom space in multi-buffer AF_XDP
ZC scenario. To address this, introduce xsk_pool_get_tailroom() and use
it within xsk_pool_get_rx_frame_size() which is used in ZC drivers to
configure length of HW Rx buffer.
Typically drivers on Rx Hw buffers side work on 128 byte alignment so
let us align the value returned by xsk_pool_get_rx_frame_size() in order
to avoid addressing this on driver's side. This addresses the fact that
idpf uses mentioned function *before* pool->dev being set so we were at
risk that after subtracting tailroom we would not provide 128-byte
aligned value to HW.
Since xsk_pool_get_rx_frame_size() is actively used in xsk_rcv_check()
and __xsk_rcv(), add a variant of this routine that will not include 128
byte alignment and therefore old behavior is preserved.

IRQs are enabled through sdca_irq_populate() from component probe
using devm_request_threaded_irq(), this however means the IRQs can
persist if the sound card is torn down. Some of the IRQ handlers
store references to the card and the kcontrols which can then
fail. Some detail of the crash was explained in [1].
Generally it is not advised to use devm outside of bus probe, so
the code is updated to not use devm. The IRQ requests are not moved
to bus probe time as it makes passing the snd_soc_component into
the IRQs very awkward and would the require a second step once the
component is available, so it is simpler to just register the IRQs
at this point, even though that necessitates some manual cleanup.

answer!" people to try to model that one properly...

Per Linus' comments requesting the replacement of "INDIR_BR_LP" in the
indirect branch tracking prctl()s with something more readable, and
suggesting the use of the speculation control prctl()s as an exemplar,
reimplement the prctl()s and related constants that control per-task
forward-edge control flow integrity.
This primarily involves two changes. First, the prctls are
restructured to resemble the style of the speculative execution
workaround control prctls PR_{GET,SET}_SPECULATION_CTRL, to make them
easier to extend in the future. Second, the "indir_br_lp" abbrevation
is expanded to "branch_landing_pads" to be less telegraphic. The
kselftest and documentation is adjusted accordingly.

Per Linus' comments about the unreadability of abbreviations such as
"indir_br_lp", rename the three prctl() implementation functions to be more
explicit. This involves renaming "indir_br_lp_status" in the function
names to "branch_landing_pad_state".
While here, add _prctl_ into the function names, following the
speculation control prctl implementation functions.

Prevent infinite fault loops when guests access memory regions without
proper permissions. Currently, mshv_handle_gpa_intercept() attempts to
remap pages for all faults on movable memory regions, regardless of
whether the access type is permitted. When a guest writes to a read-only
region, the remap succeeds but the region remains read-only, causing
immediate re-fault and spinning the vCPU indefinitely.
Validate intercept access type against region permissions before
attempting remaps. Reject writes to non-writable regions and executes to
non-executable regions early, returning false to let the VMM handle the
intercept appropriately.
This also closes a potential DoS vector where malicious guests could
intentionally trigger these fault loops to consume host resources.

In configurations with multiple tunnel layers and MPLS lwtunnel routing, a
single tunnel hop can increment the counter beyond this limit. This causes
packets to be dropped with the "Dead loop on virtual device" message even
when a routing loop doesn't exist.
Increase IP_TUNNEL_RECURSION_LIMIT from 4 to 5 to handle this use-case.
